01Agreement
By installing or using Codvian Desktop or this website you agree to these terms. If you use Codvian on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are allowed to accept them for it.
02Your account
Desktop requires sign-in. Keep your Google account secure and tell us at support@codvian.com if you believe it was misused. You are responsible for activity under your account.
03Acceptable use
Use Codvian only for lawful work on projects you are authorized to access. Our acceptable use policy describes prohibited activity and how we enforce it. In short, do not:
- attack, probe or disrupt systems you do not own or have permission to test
- use the agent to create malware, spam or content that infringes others’ rights
- circumvent sign-in, quotas, credit accounting, usage limits or security controls
- make fraudulent or abusive use of the API or managed models
- resell or redistribute the software without permission
04Credits and purchases
Codvian credits are sold as one-time purchases — there is no subscription and no automatic renewal. Credits are applied to your account and spent as you use managed models. Credits from a Mini or Pro pack are valid for one calendar month from purchase (the same date and time in the following month, or that month’s last day when the date does not exist) and unused pack credits then expire. Add-on Credits bought in the dashboard do not expire. Each eligible account receives a free daily allowance of requests and credits per rolling 24 hours; whichever limit is reached first stops additional free requests until the allowance refreshes, on a rolling 24-hour period that starts when the account first activates the free tier; free credits and requests are valid until the end of their 24-hour period and do not carry over. The current pack prices, credit amounts and the free allowance are shown on the pricing page and at checkout in the dashboard; this website never starts a payment. Refunds are governed by the refund policy and payments by the payment policy.
05The agent acts on your instructions
Codvian can read and change files, run terminal commands, use the network and browser, and work with Git, within the permissions you choose: Ask for approval, Approve for me, or Full access. You decide what it may do and you are responsible for reviewing its changes before relying on them. Keep version control or backups of your work.
06Model providers
When you connect your own key or a local model server, your use of that provider is governed by its terms and billing. Codvian is not responsible for provider availability, output or charges.
07Your content and output
You keep ownership of your code, prompts and the output produced for you. AI output can be wrong, insecure or incomplete; review and test it before use.
08Software and changes
Codvian is licensed, not sold. We may update, change or discontinue features. Updates are delivered through the Microsoft Store.
09Disclaimer and liability
Codvian is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data or profits. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable law that cannot be limited.
10Termination and contact
You may stop using Codvian at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that breaks these terms or our acceptable use policy. Questions: support@codvian.com.
