01Purpose
This policy applies to the Codvian dashboard, the API, Codvian’s managed models and the Codvian account. It exists to keep the service safe, lawful and available for everyone. It is part of our terms of service.
02Prohibited activity
Do not use Codvian to:
- break the law, or infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others
- attack, probe, overload or disrupt systems you do not own or lack permission to test
- create or distribute malware, spam, phishing or other harmful or deceptive content
- generate content that sexualises minors, incites violence, or targets people with hatred or harassment
- bypass or interfere with sign-in, quotas, the free credit allowance, credit accounting, rate limits or other security and billing controls
- make fraudulent, automated-abusive or deliberately wasteful use of the API or managed models
- resell, sublicense or redistribute the service or credits without permission
03How we enforce it
Where we detect a breach, our usual response is proportionate and escalates: a warning, then investigation, then a temporary restriction of the relevant capability, and — for serious or repeated breaches — suspension or permanent ban of the Codvian account and its API keys. Serious abuse may be acted on immediately. These actions affect your Codvian account and keys; they do not affect your Google identity anywhere else.
04Effect on paid entitlements
If your account is suspended or terminated for a breach of this policy, access to purchased credits and other paid entitlements may be terminated. Refunds in that case are at our discretion and subject to the refund policy and applicable law.
05Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was a mistake, you can appeal by emailing support@codvian.com from your account email. We will review and respond.
06Data retention after action
After a restriction, suspension or ban, we retain the account, usage and security records needed to enforce this policy, meet legal obligations and handle appeals, per the retention described in the privacy policy.
